I was with Diana Hay, a local fashion photographer, and Ammie Welch, her assistant on a photo shoot in Cloudcroft and Ruidoso this Wednesday.  Initially, I was planning on interviewing her and covering a story about how a military spouse starts her own photography business in Alamogordo and be a successful photographer.  I wanted to get some footage of Diana in action, but she could not schedule any model shoot in time (she and her family are going out of town for a beauty pageant next week). 

     

In order to make the story interesting, I came up with the idea of producing a video with a “reality show” feel to tell the audience how an outdoor photo shoot is like and how she works as a photographer.  Since I have worked with her as a model before, I became the model of this video.  I love the location that she picked and the video showcased her photography talent.
