I did a TV interview on Animal Rescue Mission in Alamogordo today. Jean Schaeffer, the founder and president of this non-profit organization, has been a very pleasant lady to work with. Animal Rescue Mission is not receiving any state or federal fundings, and its operation is based solely on donations and income from its thrift store on Indian Wells. It will accept animals on a space-available basis and will also provide a number of services, including spaying, neutering and adoption.
She is looking for a caretaker who can live in the mobile home on the premises. Without a caretaker, the new home for this no-kill animal sanctuary will not be operational. If you know someone who is interested, please visit their website and contact Jean. She needs a good animal lover who can take care of the animal sanctuary for her.

Animal Lovers,
I ask all the animal lovers around the area to join our animal rescue forums. Our message board are/is dedicated to discussing everything pet related, but our major emphasis is pet rescue.
Anyway, thanks for the blog post, it was a good read
